Website design in 2018 will adapt to new devices and new ways in which users interact with websites on those devices. As mobile devices, tablets, laptops, and desktops meld into hybrid devices, websites that are responsive to touch and have flexible design options have become paramount. Building layouts that are flexible and can re-size based on the user’s display remains a key to website design in 2018.
Stylistically, 2018 is the year of bright colors, minimalism, and large engaging photography. Using bold simple fonts and patterns to enhance design aspects is also a big part of the 2018 design trends. Expect to see sites that feature more image-based content and use interactive media to engage visitors.
