What Yext offers

With Yext, you to fill out a one-time survey of your business name, address, and phone number. Then Yext submits this information to 80 Internet databases and media sites. 

You also have the option to sign up for PowerListings at $500 per location per year to receive more prominent listings in online directories.

  • Your company can build awareness and prominence in your region.
  • Reputable websites and services link to your website automatically without search engines penalizing the links.


  • Yext doesn't always send your information to the best websites and directories. You cannot customize from options of where they send your data, and some are just mapping services or mobile apps that do not provide you with any SEO value.
  • Some users have found, when they stop paying for Yext, all of their contact information reverts back to what it was before they signed up. Without paying annually, users risk losing all the customized features and benefits Yext offers.
